Your Bio
J. L. Gould is a photographer and artist living on the eastern shore of Maryland. A lover of nature and supporter of environmental protection, she hopes to capture just some of the wonder of our natural world in her photography, and in so doing so, encourage others to protect our wild places.
While her travels may take her far from home, J. L. Gould enjoys being based in Maryland, saying that on any day of the year and in whichever direction she goes, there is something beautiful just waiting to be seen. When not in Maryland, she enjoys camping and hiking in new locations. In recent years she has spent time photographing the New England coastline, the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee and North Carolina, the Badlands and Black Hills of South Dakota and the Rocky Mountains of Montana, Wyoming and Colorado.
